As per the fresh guidelines, dated October 10, Punjab University has changed admission conditions for all departments for Ph.D. and MPhil admissions.
The issue of new guidelines came up when the Department of English and Cultural Studies rejected the candidature of the daughter of former Education Minister of Haryana Geeta Bhukkal though she is the Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
